Richie Furay is an American music luminary, an inductee into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He is celebrated for pioneering Country-Rock as a founding member of the legendary and quintessential groups Buffalo Springfield, Poco, and the Souther-Hillman-Furay band.

Richie Furay's Final Farewell & 80th Birthday Celebration Concert
On the East Coast with his 8 member band at South Orange Performing Arts Center(SOPAC)New Jersey

Ten years ago, Richie’s 70th birthday concert at SOPAC included special and surprise guests Rusty Young & George Grantham of Poco, and Mark Volman of The Turtles.
Paul Cotton was also a special guest at a prior SOPAC show. 
This show will be Richie’s “final farewell concert” at SOPAC with his eight-member band as he retires from a music career of nearly 60 years of touring.  Bring your friends and family together as Richie celebrates his storied career and the music of Buffalo Springfield, Poco, Souther-Hillman-Furay, and Richie’s solo work!  The evening will also include a partial preview of Richie Furay’s documentary and an appearance by a special guest.
